Wax & Wine Encaustic Collage Night

Apr 17, 2018
07:00 PM until 09:00 PM

Come learn and explore your creativity at the Carriage Barn Arts Center this spring!

On Tuesday, April 17 the Carriage Barn is hosting “Wax & Wine," a social evening of hands-on fun.

Carriage Barn member and New Canaan assemblage artist Cindy Bussiere will lead a relaxing introduction to encaustic paints and collage.  Participants will work with warm wax and paper images and complete a work of art on their small wooden canvas. No experience is necessary but practicing artists are welcome to join as well.

Bring photos, images from magazines or books, paper swatches and anything else that inspires you.

The workshop will take place from 7-9pm and the cost is $35 for Carriage Barn members and $50 for non-members (fee includes materials).

Light refreshments will be served, BYOB if desired.

Space is limited, register online at or call 203-594-3638.

$35 (members) / $50 (non-members)
