Description

Celebrate Helena Hernmarck’s materials and processes at our monthly free admission day. Work with teaching artists and Museum staff on warm wintery projects while enjoying hot cocoa and seasonal treats. 

 

Family Workshop: Wintery Weaving

10 am to 12 noon; children ages 2 to 5

1 to 3 pm; children ages 6 to 10

 

Create your own cardboard loom with a Museum educator and then use paper, fabric, and yarn to weave your own multimedia masterpiece to take home with you! 

 

Tour of Helena Hernmarck: Weaving in Progress

12 noon to 1 pm

All ages

Join us for a tour of Helena Hernmarck’s exhibition, exploring her weavings, loom, and source material, and discovering how Hernmarck creates a work from start to finish.
