Things To Do

The Women

Nov 5, 2017 to Dec 31, 2017
11:00 AM until 05:00 PM

This event occurs daily, every weekday.

Works on View include recent pieces by women whose primary media is clay and selected works from private and artist archives by female potters and sculptors.

The Women provides an opportunity to consider the range of work by artists who are women who are known for their work in ceramics. Director Leslie Ferrin, a life-long advocate for women in ceramics, says "It is gratifying to see the art world beginning the process of examining and bringing recognition to the overlooked contributions of women to postwar visual arts."
