The Institute for Holistic Health Studies at WCSU will host "Sahaja Yoga Meditation" at 7 p.m. in Room 103 of Warner Hall on the WCSU Midtown campus, 181 White St. in Danbury. Sahaja Yoga Meditation is a simple, yet profound, guided meditation with easy-to-do hand movements that can be done while sitting in the comfort of a chair. Sahaja Yoga Meditation, founded by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, is practiced in more than 100 countries. The purpose of this meditation is to awaken kundalini energy to create a state of thoughtless awareness. The benefits of this meditation include inner peace, happiness, clarity, improved focus, stress reduction, relaxation and improved physical health. The class will be conducted by Jesse Rovero.
