“SPECTRUM 2017:  Grayscale”Carriage Barn Arts Center, home to the New Canaan Society for the Arts will host its 27th annual Spectrum Contemporary Art Show.  Spectrum is a juried exhibition of original, contemporary artwork by local and regional artists in all media.  


Guest juror and contemporary art specialist Adrienne Ruger Conzelman, of ARC Fine Art, selected works rendered in grayscale — black and white and anything in between.   The limited palette will give particular emphasis to form, texture, perspective, context and content. Virtually every medium will be considered including: Oil, Acrylic, Photography, Pastel, Drawing, Print, Mixed Media, Sculpture, Assemblage, Installation, Fabric and Video when part of an installation.
