Things To Do

Running On Empty Band at Infinity Music Hall

Aug 24, 2018
08:00 PM until 11:00 PM

Running On Empty—Celebrating the Music of Jackson Browne and the Laurel Canyon Sound, are excited to bring their breezy California vibe to a beautiful Norfolk, CT venue, Infinity Music Hall & Bistro, for the first time.
This fine band of seasoned musicians will be singing classic tunes from the ‘70’s, with trademark harmonies of the Eagles, CSN, Linda Ronstadt, plus the best of Jackson Browne’s catalog, such as hits like “Running on Empty,” “Doctor My Eyes,” “Take It Easy,” and many more.   Band members include Andy (“A.J.”) Gundell, Sheila Fabrizio on vocals, bass player Howard Jeffrey, internationally acclaimed violinist Kenny Kosek, Rob Mack on keyboards, guitarist Shawn Persinger, the band’s creator Jonathan “Rock Doc” Schneider, drummer Greg Trabandt and Jordan West, on percussion and vocals.   While this talented band keeps running on, they are gaining a foothold of fans across Connecticut. Running On Empty just recently sold out The Kate Theater in Old Saybrook, and over 200 tickets were sold to fans of their breezy California sound at Nelson Hall in Cheshire, CT.

“Jackson’s music, and the music of the Laurel Canyon collective, is heartfelt, real, emotionally captivating and true. It’s influenced all of us in the band deeply through the years— and just as we’re reconnecting with our musical roots through “Running On Empty,” we look forward to our audiences feeling and doing the same,” says 13-time Emmy Award winning composer Andy (“A.J.”) Gundell, vocalist, guitarist, harmonica player in the band.

“...that California vibe was everywhere...pure contentment, pure joy!”
