Refugee Camp Simulation

Nov 6, 2018
06:00 PM until 07:30 PM

The Jesuit University Humanitarian Action Network (JUHAN) will host a Refugee Camp Simulation in the lobby of the Quick Center for the Arts on Tuesday, November 6 at 6:00 p.m.

Participants in the Refugee Camp Simulation will be presented with a “Refugee Identity Card” upon entering the space. The Identity Card will give the students a refugee identity, including: a country of origin, refugee status, and the circumstances that brought them to the camp. Students will use their ID cards as they walk through the camp, with each station having corresponding data about water, shelter, and food in their region.

Presented in conjunction with the exhibition, Mohamad Hafez: Collateral Damage.
