Things To Do

Paint the Town Purple

Jun 15, 2018 to Jun 20, 2018
08:00 AM

In celebration of National Brain Health Month, the Alzheimer Association and local Fairfield community partners are going to “Paint the Town Purple” from June 15th through the 20th to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease.
Support local businesses who support our cause! Businesses will have purple window displays, Community Partner decals, and many will offer special discounts during this period.

On June 15, 2018, there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony in front of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, 1597 Post Road, to kick off the campaign. First Selectman Mike Tetreau will read and issue a Town proclamation declaring June 2018 as Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month. Fairfield’s Director of Community and Economic Development, Mark Barnhart, will also be in attendance.
