Explore four private gardens in Washington, open for self-guided tours to benefit the Garden Conservancy and Hollister House Garden. Highlights include romantic country gardens, panoramic views of the Litchfield Hills, a potager with geometric beds, garden rooms, and mature specimen trees. Begin at Hollister House Garden or see website for additional locations; hours vary. No reservations required; rain or shine. Admission is $7 at most locations; $10 at Hollister House Garden including admission to the plant sale.
