Description

Stepping Stones hosts the first "Farmers and Friends Family Picnic" to benefit the Norwalk Foodshed at Stepping Stones Museum for Children. The fun-filled, outdoor extravaganza will teach families how easy and delicious it can be to make healthy choices and eat locally sourced foods. Visit the Farmer’s Market with free food samples from local farms, restaurants and stores. Mingle with food and garden experts, go on a tour of the Edible Garden. Enjoy live music from The String Fingers Band, Magician Danny Diamond, face painting, activities and games for the whole family! Catered lunch by Palmer's Market with a special lunch for kids that comes with a fun surprise. RAIN or SHINE. Price includes catered lunch and museum admission.
