Fall Celebration

Weantinoge Heritage Land Trust will host its annual, free, Fall Celebration on Saturday, September 15 from 8 AM – 2 PM at the Smyrski Farm Preserve, a 220-acre farm that has been in continuous use for over 200 years. This family-friendly event is open to all and brings communities together to celebrate and appreciate local agriculture, history, and conservation. Last year, over 400 guests of all ages joined from Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York. Activities include:


  • 8 AM - 10:30 AM --- Tethered hot-air balloon rides
  • 8 AM - 11 AM --- Free breakfast
  • 9:30 AM - 11 AM --- Petting zoo
  • 10 AM - 2 PM --- Hayrides, face/pumpkin painting, nature walks
  • 11:30 AM --- Birds of prey presented by Sharon Audubon
  • 12 - 2 PM --- BBQ Lunch
  • 1 - 3 PM --- Live music by Switch Factory
