Earth Day Celebration! Helping the Kent Land Trust

Date/Time

Apr 22, 2017
09:00 AM until 12:30 PM

Description

Celebrate Earth Day with friends outside in beautiful Kent! Meet at the Kent Land Trust Office  for coffee and light breakfast, then pitch in at one of three nature preserves to get them ready for spring's visitors - winged, two, and four-footed!

The Earth Day event begins at 9:00 am. We will meet at the Kent Land Trust offices for coffee and light breakfast. We will then split into three groups and head to three separate Land Trust sites to get the trails ready for spring. We will be weeding, clearing trails, picking up trash, and, at one site, creating a new trail. We expect to wrap up around 12:30pm.

People are welcome to join at any time—they can contact Hascy (646-709-0101) for details about where we will be at a given time. Anyone interested can contact Hascy to register, so we can ensure we have proper tools, supplies, etc. ahead of the event.
