This event occurs weekly, on Thursday.

Description

Art in Nature explores various drawing and painting techniques using reference from the nature world.  The class will venture out into the spacious and wooded Westmoreland property to gather materials found in nature to incorporate into our field and still life studies.  Each student then renders sketches and more fully-realized art pieces from the treasures they find.  Students will utilize museum exhibits and the outdoors to study animals, bugs and plant structure as it pertains to art and field sketching.  Please send your child with a healthy snack and drink and dressed for outdoor weather, as some classes will be spent outside.
