Does Trump live in Bedford?
Yes, sort of. Trump’s son Eric is believed to live there occasionally. And like its owner, the mega-mansion, Seven Springs, the $19.5-million estate Trump bought from Rockefeller University in 1996, is poised to make headlines.
The 50,000-square-foot house boasts 60 rooms, 15 bedrooms, and two servants quarters. Trump had planned to build on the property a luxury golf course, but that idea was scratched. Next, he threatened to erect 14 gigantic homes. Nothing.
The property made news in 2009 when Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi pitched a tent on it while in New York to address the UN. Chris Burdick, supervisor for the Town of Bedford, reported there is current activity regarding Seven Springs. “He has filed a declaration regarding his conservation easement,” Burdick says.
He suggested anyone could look it up online at westchesterclerk.com.
He did add that should Trump prevail and become President, it could cause a burden on the police should he name Seven Springs as his summer White House.
