The classics make a comeback

CHARLOTTE VAN DOREN (and pup Winslow) spends weekends and summers in Cornwall with her husband, Adam, a painter, and their 13-year-old twins in a home that they built on Van Doren family land. GINA DUCKWORTH, expecting her second child, founded and heads the Ford Models artist’s division in New York representing photographers, fashion stylists, hair and makeup artists, and designers (fordartists.com). Gina is involved with several Litchfield charities especially with the Connecticut Junior Republic’s annual house tour. She loves movies at the Bantam Cinema, snagging an outdoor table at the West Street Grill, and biking. Gina wears a British made Shearling Coat (by special order, $2,300) from R. Derwin Clothiers. ALEXANDER DUCKWORTH divides his time between New York City and Litchfield. Duckworth is founder and creative director of a marketing firm that focuses its efforts on the wealthiest 0.1 percent of the population (point-one-percent.com). A sports enthusiast, he can be glimpsed dashing through the county on his Triumph motorbike, to the Hickory Stick Book Shop or even to Barrington Bagel for a morning treat. JEFFREY CRAWFORD lives in an historic home in Litchfield. He is food and beverage manager and executive chef at Grand Prix New York Racing in Mt. Kisco. He also does private dinners for select clients in Litchfield County and has personally catered many charity events in the area including ones for The Oliver Wolcott Library, the Gunn Memorial Library, and The Connecticut Junior Republic. He can be spotted through the fall at the Saturday Farmer’s Market in Litchfield.
