Little Pub, Big Deal

A good pub is a beautiful thing.

A good pub is a beautiful thing. A crackling fire, dim lighting, lively conversation, and hearty food and drink cultivate the warmth and comfort that a proper pub exudes. The Little Pub offers precisely this atmosphere. Opened first in Ridgefield in 2009, THE LITTLE PUB met the recession-era demand for quality at an affordable price, and has stuck to that model ever since. According to owner Doug Grabe, The Little Pub keeps its approach simple. “It is all about fun over fancy. Comfortable over cool. Providing great food and drinks coupled with a relentless focus on customer service in a warm and inviting atmosphere.” For years, there was a wait for a table every night of the week.

Building on the success of Ridgefield, Little Pub opened in Wilton in 2013 and Greenwich this past August. Of his new additions, Grabe says, “Each location has its own personality and idiosyncrasies, but all share a common DNA and culture.” Evidently, the laid-back atmosphere and quality service of Little Pub is in high demand in Fairfield County. As for further expansion, Grabe says he believes the demand is there for a few more Little Pubs, so stay tuned.
