Evelyn Lee is the founder of an entirely new type of business in residential Southport—a flower farm. At Butternut Gardens, Lee grows over 600 varieties of flowers. Prior to starting Butternut, she worked with a local nursery and before that, a flower shop. She earned a Master’s in environmental studies from Yale School of Forestry and completed gardening studies at the New York Botanical Garden.
