A curious thought occurred to us about the newly appointed director of Fairfield University’s Quick Center for the Arts. His first and middle names, each four short, staccato letters, are eerily reminiscent of the opening of Beethoven’s 5th Symphony: two sets of four notes (da-da-da-dah). Humming this, we met with Wood to chat about his background and ambitions.
