What Are You Craving?
Crave has something for everyone—including music
There’s something new to crave on Sanford Street. Located next door to the Fairfield Theater Co., Crave is owned by two long-time friends, Alfonso Cammarota of Fairfield and Peter Prizio of Easton. It opened in April and has become a destination for pre- or post-show food and drinks, or just a casual night out with family or friends.
The redesigned space has a large, separate bar room with modern elements like a concrete-topped bar, Edison bulb pendant lighting, and industrial-style overhead doors that lead to a front deck. The cocktail menu changes seasonally, but popular stand-bys include the Bada Bing (Belvedere and Pellegrino Aranciata) and the Skinny B (Tito’s, water, and half a lemon).
The dining room has a newly revamped menu featuring small plates, big plates, salads, sandwiches, and good children’s options. Favorites include the meatball salad, sesame-crusted ahi tuna, and filet beef tips served with corn relish. For those wanting to put on their dancing shoes, Crave has live DJs every Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 10 pm.
In addition, the new Sunday brunch features huevos rancheros, bagels with lox, and Eggs Benedict, complete with a bottomless mimosa.
