For those chilly nights by the fire, Cafe Madeline owner, Madeline Migliorini, shares her favorite after-dinner coffee cocktail, Caffe Amore. In addition to a great list of seasonal cocktails, the cafe has an impressive menu of coffee concoctions, with or without a “kick”. Start with a cup of freshly brewed hot coffee, and add one shot of Cognac, one shot of Amaretto liqueur, and stir. Top with a dollop of freshly whipped cream and serve immediately. If you’re looking for something sweeter, try our favorite Caffe Affogato, which is a scoop of house-made gelato topped with a shot of hot espresso and whipped cream. During the winter months, Madeline uses White Chocolate Mint gelato to create a special holiday-inspired treat (also house-made and available by the pint).
