HOLDS 3 PARENT INFO SESSIONS ON FORTHCOMING COMMON APPLICATION If you are the parents of college-bound juniors, May can be a month of waiting on the sidelines for APs, SATs and proms to be over. Then more waiting; next year’s Common App won’t go live until 8/1. To put this precious time to use, Maxene Fabe Mulford of Uniquely U. College Essay Consultants has set aside three informative Thursday evenings for parents to share with their busy juniors when they are finally free enough to concentrate. The May 10, 17, and 24 sessions will take place from 7-9 p.m. at 55 Riverside Ave., Stamford, CT and cover the same material all three evenings. Topics include • Contents of the new Common Application; • The activity sheet as secret weapon; • How to maximize summer college visits with this fall’s supplement apps in mind; • Where the college essay fits into the picture.
