The Memorial Day Parade in Ridgefield is always a fantastic event for not only the residents of Ridgefield, but the surrounding towns as well. This parade begings at 11:30 AM on May 28th(Memorial Day), and processes through Main Street and a few other side streets within Ridgefield. The parade features the local fire department, local sports teams, such as baseball or soccer, and many other sponsoring shops or stores. People of every age and size, ranging from the kids in the Boy/Girl Scout troops to the veterans of previous wars, love to get involved and honor the veterans who are no longer with us. |
