Since the first Kent Film Festival in March of 2006, this grassroots celebration of independent film has steadily grown into a much-anticipated Litchfield County event. It has had its ups and downs but has continually been the true inde fest of Connecticut.
This year the festival will take place in its new permanent home at the Warner Theater in Torrington, CT to bring films to the already culturally diverse Theatre. It will be the identical intimate festival it has been in the past, but now has the home it deserves.
SAVE THE DATES: June 28-July 1! We will be screening close to 100 films including features, documentaries and shorts. The venues will include the Warner Theatre, Schoolhouse Theatre, The Town Hall and a Main Street "POP-UP" theatre.
