Liliana Kleid- Paintings- Oliver Wolcott Library Liliana Kleid’s vibrant floral and still life paintings reflect her feelings, passion and sensitivity to nature. The stunning color contrast used in her paintings breathe life and leap forth from the canvas inviting the viewer within. Whether working in trompe l’oeils, acrylics, mixed media, or creating wall and ceiling murals Liliana’s artwork captures the abundant diversity and beauty that mother nature‘s palette provides. As a native of Lima, Peru, Liliana was influenced by the brilliant and colorful Peruvian art and textiles that inspired her own distinctive style of art work. As a student of communications and the arts, Liliana’s professional career began in the field of animation where she produced numerous animated television commercials in Peru, Brazil and Bolivia. Liliana and her family reside in Litchfield, Ct. In the gallery: January 31- February 24.
