ASAP is thrilled to announce its 7th Annual Celebration of Young Writers & Benefit Auction hosted by Susan Saint James! The doors will open at 5:00 p.m. for a cocktail reception that features a live and silent auction, in which all proceeds benefit ASAP. After the reception, guests will follow a candle-lit path to an illuminated tent where a short live auction will take place. Guests will then be treated to the best poetry and prose from the area's young writers. This year’s guest readers include Susan Saint James, Jerry Adler, Fran Brill Kelly, Candace Bushnell, Frank Delaney, Paul Doherty, Jack Gilpin, Ellen McCourt, and Dani Shapiro. The night will close with the Frank McCourt Prize for Excellence in Teaching awarded to an exceptional local educator. |
