Woodbury Reggae Fest – 40 Years of Roots, Rock, and Reggae
40 years ago, the idea of a Reggae Fest was conceived, and now, the festival is back and better than ever. The Reggae Fest has always been about music, fun, and hanging out with friends, and this year, it seems that it will not disappoint. If you want to stop by for part of the day or camp over night and enjoy all of the live music, you better buy your tickets quick, as this event is sure to be a hot seller.
Although the Reggae Fest offers camping, swimming, and many other activities, the music is the heart and soul of the entire festival. This year’s lineup is sure to be special, as it includes King Yellowman with The Sagittarius Band, The Melodians with Yellow Wall Dub Squad, New Kingston, Todo Bien, Eric Smith and the Mighty Roots, Sym, and many others! The natural amphitheater found at Woodbury Ski Area makes it the perfect venue for the one-of-a-kind Reggae Fest.
Do you want to do more than just listen to music? The Reggae Fest has you covered. Visitors can walk around and see the incredible food, arts, and crafts vendors. If you want something a little more exciting, you can go summer tubing, skating at the skate park, swimming, and zorbing. For those that don’t know, zorbing is when you are placed inside a massive “inflatable” ball, and either rolled down a hill or put in the water, where you can run freely within the ball. In addition, Woodbury Ski Area is adding a zip line system, but this is coming soon and may or may not make it for the Reggae Fest.

The Reggae Fest is June 23rd and 24th at the Woodbury Ski Area. Tickets are on sale right now, in one-day pass ($55), two-day pass ($110), and VIP pass ($199) forms. As this is the 40th anniversary of the festival, it is sure to be one of the biggest ones yet. Make sure you buy your tickets and mark your calendars because this festival is rocking its way into Woodbury in just a couple of weeks!
