Where to Shop
The Wish House
This unique store in the heart of West Cornwall sells women’s clothing and accessories along with quirky home accents, body care products, even children’s clothing and toys. Starting Aubust 12, artwork by Hendon Chubb will be displayed throughout the store. The Wish House front lawn is also the site of the Cornwall Farm Market every Saturday morning. Cornwall Bridge Pottery
This specialty shop sells select works from glassmakers, woodworkers, metalsmiths and other artists from all around the country. The two floors showcase lamps, furniture and ever changing pottery exhibitions, whose artisanal work has been featured in Create and Decorate Magazine as well as Architectural Digest. Stop by Monday-Friday 12-5, Saturday and Sunday 10:30-5:30.

What to Do
Cornwall Bridge
Next, take your trip down the road into West Cornwall to visit the covered bridge. This historic bridge brings traffic from Rt128 over the Housatonic River. Built in 1841, this is always a fun destination to visit and cross. 
Clarke Outdoors
Looking for some adventurous summer fun? Stop by Clarke Outdoors to raft, kayak or canoe down the Housatonic River. The bridge marks the halfway point of the beautiful 10 mile journey, or take the shorter route of about six miles, the perfect way to cool off and see the river on a sunny day.

After a long day of shopping, sightseeing and river riding, grab a bite to eat at the Wandering Moose Cafe.They serve up comforting, familiar dishes with great service in a country atmosphere. Try getting a space at their outdoor seating and order the crab cakes for a delicious summer meal.
