Pilobolus - Have a ball!
Since 1971, the creative dance group Pilobolus has been pushing boundaries and putting themselves on the map. They’ve worked on the Grammy-nominated music video for OK Go’s song “All Is Not Lost”, choreographed over 100 works, and made multiple TV appearances on shows like 60 Minutes and Conan O’Brien.
The Pilobolus Dance Theatre is based in the picturesque little town of Washington, Connecticut, in the Southern part of Litchfield County. They hold summer camps and adult workshops at the Washington Club Hall, located just yards away from the Gunnery boarding school. They promote creativity and productivity, and keep participants extremely active.
Now, the group is celebrating their 8th Annual Pilobolus Summer Ball. The night promises to be bigger than ever before; there will be an open bar provided by Pernod Ricard USA, dinner by Kent’s Millstone Café and Bakery, and performances by Pilobolus with selections from their upcoming Joyce Season in New York City. There will also be a live silent auction with prizes including a VIP Jets Package, an African Safari, and an Exclusive Dinner with the Dancers of Pilobolus and the Walklyndon Walk-on at the Joyce Theater. This benefit gala will be held on Saturday, June 30th at the great lawn at Quatre Vents in Washington, Connecticut, the town where they are based.
