Happy New Year
Another year has come and gone. And if you’re like the rest of the planet, you’ve had more pies, cakes, cookies, and cheese platters make their way to your waistline than you’d care to count.
Now it begins: Eater’s remorse. Gotta get healthy. Need to lose weight. Those thoughts are usually preceded by not being able to zip your pants.
In a December 31st article in The New York Times, this is nothing new for the fitness and weight-loss industry. Their businesses thrive on our lack of self-control and it usually begins right after the new year. Memberships are cheap and easy. Just sign up and get the body you deserve!
(For those looking for weight loss programs, see our previous article on this site about Annette Alfieri’s 6-week diet plan at Lighten Up!)
This isn’t New York City or L.A. And, most of us don’t have a personal trainer who helps us keep fit in our in-home gym. So, what’s a Fairfield resident to do? No worries. There are a number of places in town that can help you on your way to a healthier, fitter you in 2012.
