Meet storybook icons like Cinderella and Aladdin and kick start your candy collection while you’re at it.

Fridays and Saturdays, 7:00 -11:00 p.m.; Sundays, 7:00 – 10:00 p.m.
Dare to be scared? This one is not for the faint of heart. Follow the “Trails from the Crypt” and who knows what you’ll find. Head along a half-mile pathway of horror (not intended for kids under 12). And if that wasn’t enough to frighten you out of your boots, check out the Laser Jam Spooktacular at the Planetarium. Three hundred sixty degrees of Halloween fun set to music.

Fairfield Chamber of Commerce

Trick-or-Treat on Safety Street
Wednesday, October 31st from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Head out early for this one. The sidewalks get jampacked with kids, parents, strollers, and even dogs decked out in their Halloween best. Each business and boutique along Post Road passes out candy. So slap on your costume and grab a candy bucket. A great town tradition!

Pequot Library
Trick-or-Treat Open House Party
Wednesday, October 31st
4:30 – 6:00 p.m.
This is great for the wee ones who need to hit the hay a little earlier than other kids. There will be games and crafts with pizza and drinks.

About This Blog

Fairfield is a quaint little shore town tucked along the Gold Coast of the Long Island Sound. In 2006, Money Magazine rated the town as the ninth best place to live in the United States and the best place to live in the Northeast. We are a thriving community of active residents who walk, bike, hike, and run. And for our canine friends, it's a dog's life at the beaches and the hiking trails at Lake Mohegan. It is a great place for families and, with two major universities, it is a great place for students both young and old. With two epicenters of commerce on Post Road and Black Rock Turnpike, there is a range of shopping opportunities from major chains to Mom and Pop shops. Looking for a fun night out? Park your car in the center of town and the world is your oyster! See a concert at the Fairfield Theatre Company. Catch a movie at the Community Theater. Grab a bite to eat or a quick drink at any of the amazing restaurants peppered along the main drag. This blog celebrates all the things that are happening around town. Stop by and come see what all the fuss is about.
