Bedford Village Memorial Park

Operated and maintained by the Town of Bedford’s Recreation and Parks Department, the Village Memorial Park is a must on a sunny day.  This beautiful and open park features amenities including picnic areas, tennis courts, baseball and softball fields, basketball courts, swimming pools, football and soccer fields and playgrounds.  Great for the family, the Memorial Park offers benches, picnic pavilions and picnic tables perfect for an outdoor meal.  

Bedford Hills Memorial Park

Greeted by its beautiful pond, the Bedford Hills Park is known for its recreational opportunities.  Open daily from dawn to dusk this park provides a skating rink, playgrounds, courts and fields, swimming pools and picnic areas.  Spend an afternoon picnicking and sitting beside the pond watching the beautiful swans swimming.

Named after the Indian from whom this land was bought in 1696, Wampus Pond Park is a relaxing place perfect for picnicking.  Not only does this park offer picnicking, its features ice skating, fishing and bird watching.  For fishing lovers, Wampus Pond Park supplies rowboats that are available on weekends and holidays from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
