Austrian archduke discusses the delicate art of the faberge egg
Austrian archduke and Fabergé expert Dr. Géza von Habsburg will talk about “Fabergé and the Russian Gilded Age” on September 17, 2016 at the graceful “cottage” of Ventfort Hall.
Fluent in seven languages, von Habsburg has authored nine and co-authored two books on Fabergé, and lectured for over ten years at the Met.
The fundraising event features dinner and music by Elina Karokhina, balalaika virtuoso, and Mikhail Smirnov, guitarist and singer, who will perform Russian folk music. Tickets for the grand soirée are $150 a head.
