CATA’s Inspirational Gala
Community Access to the Arts holds performance and gala
Community Access to the Arts (CATA) held its annual performance and gala in mid-May. Over 800 people saw the show, including packed houses on Saturday and Sunday, and a large crowd of school children at a Friday dress rehearsal. Forty CATA artists participated, ages 17 through 69, taking inspiration from the question, “What does it mean to be a wallflower?” Eight different performance pieces were featured, including tap, juggling, modern dance, and improv.
