Casey Carter's fascination with diamonds and gemstones rivals his passion for indulgent customer service. The Bedford-bred gemologist opened Bijou, his fine jewelry boutique in Katonah, with the goal of matching each client with a custom creation or a designer bauble. Kelly Raneri is the fourth generation to work full-time at Charles Department Store since her great-grandfather Charles Raneri opened the shop’s current location on Katonah Avenue in 1939. She successfully manages the men’s- and women’s-apparel department and surpasses customers’ expectations with a smile.
