All Revved Up

Pound Ridge Car Show

Riding in cars is a quintessential part of American life. Take a look at a photo of a car from your past, and you’ll be instantly transported back to squabbling with siblings, getting your driver’s license, or going on a date. On September 12, 2015 you can flashback through automotive history at the Pound Ridge Car Show. For its 13th year, the Pound Ridge Police Benevolent Association will sponsor this all-day, all-inclusive auto event in memory of Police Officer Tom Pisco.

New and old, large and small. Put your own auto on display or walk around the park grounds and admire those around you. Your kids will have a blast as they climb aboard fire and rescue trucks. The fun doesn’t stop there! Though you’re sure to be captivated by the cars for hours, stop by the silent auction to bid on alluring items, buy gifts and goods from car show vendors, purchase a ticket or two with a chance of winning the raffle, and enjoy live music.

If you do enter your own set of wheels, you’ll even have the opportunity to win a trophy. Last year, over 150 trophies were awarded to local participants. Food and refreshments will be available. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Pound Ridge community.

The Pound Ridge Car Show will be held Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 9 am to 4 pm, at the Pound Ridge Town Park. Admission is free. Friendly reminder that no dogs are allowed. poundridgecarshow.com
