The Art of It: Good Art

Denny Good creates vibrant images of rural New England

Morning Grey Barn, exhibited at The Kitchen Table in Pound Ridge, is one of many large, bold, and colorful canvases created by Denny Good, an artist raised in Australia and Northern England. Now settled in Kent, Connecticut, Good is most at home when painting scenes of rural New England, including landscapes, farms, and barns. As a colorist, Good’s unique use of vibrant hues brings alive the time of day that shadows and sunlight impose upon her subject.
